Program 1 produces a deployed interactive prototype. It becomes a working full-stack product only after approved interactions are migrated and tested in Program 2.

No prior coding is required for Program 1. Students do need curiosity, logical reasoning, and the willingness to explain their decisions. Program 2 introduces code through a provided framework rather than an empty repository.

It provides authentication, roles, row-level data security, model definitions, record APIs, workflow states, triggers, server-side AI controls, usage reporting, tests, GitHub CI, managed Cloud Run deployment, and a teacher dashboard. Email, file storage, and specialist integrations are available as reviewed extensions.

The student defines the problem, users, brand, interface, entities, fields, relationships, workflow steps, approved prompts, triggers, and limited business rules. They design in Lovable, import through Git, then use Cursor to connect the design to documented platform functions.

The guided setup validates the computer, creates or links the project repository, configures the managed Supabase and Cloud Run resources, writes local credentials to ignored environment files, and checks the live deployment. Lovable and Cursor may still require a one-time provider sign-in because their account security cannot be bypassed.

Students use a diagnostic playbook: reproduce the problem, read the error, inspect the relevant model or workflow, ask AI for an explanation, test the smallest change, and escalate after the agreed time limit. Git history and automated checks provide a recovery path.

No. Program 1 is an interactive product prototype. Program 2 can produce a working full-stack application on a protected foundation, but public production use, real personal data, payments, high-volume AI, or regulated workflows require a separate technical and compliance review.
